With the Florida version of DDC-Online you can receive this training at your convenience on your personal computer and print your completion certificate right after you graduate! Florida motorists may elect to take the Basic Driver Improvement (BDI) course to avoid points from a moving violation being added to their driving record. Individuals may take the BDI course once every twelve months, up to a maximum of five times in a lifetime. Motorists may also be required to attend a BDI course due to a court order, to fulfill a Traffic Collision Avoidance Course (TCAC) requirement, or to be eligible for an insurance discount.
